From the award-winning Tassie distillery, Launceston's Peated Single Malt Whisky comes about by the clever marriage of Scottish peated malt and unpeated Tasmanian barley malt. It has then been matured in a combination of French and American oak casks and bottled at a slightly higher than normal 46%ABV for added impact and flavour.
 
The result is a beautiful golden whisky with Delicate honeycomb, menthol eucalypt, beeswax, nectarine and citrus on the nose, Marzipan, stone fruit, bush honey, gentle waves of peat, toasted muesli, spices and buttered toast on the palate, and a lingering earthy peat finish.
