What a superb whisky this is! Hillwood Port Cask is an ultra-premium, small-batch Tasmanian single malt whisky, lovingly made by hand from milling the grain to bottling. This is all done on site in the Herron family's distillery in the Tamar Valley.
 
Aged in ex-Port casks of French oak, the result of this 30-bottle batch - all from a single barrel, is nothing short of incredible. And being bottled at 59%ABV, you get to taste exactly what the distiller had in mind with this whisky.
