Hamish nugent & Rachel Reed
Accomplished chefs and now distillers Hamish and Rachel have drawn inspiration for their creations from their natural surroundings that reflects the landscape of the Alpine Region in North East Victoria. The distillery itself is situated in the centre of Bright, complete with a bar and a coffee roastery by Sixpence Coffee.
Their first limited release gin called 'Remedy Gin' is an Australian Dry Gin with traditional roots. A spicy gin up front with juniper and mountain pepper berry. While the middle palate shows citrus notes from the lemon myrtle and finger lime. Shiso, eucalyptus, apple and tea come through in a long viscous and clean finish.

Hamish and Rachel have also launched their 'Spirit Lab' range, which, as the name suggests, comprises of limited and experimental releases. A number of tasty and exciting gin infusions and liqueurs have been released under the 'Spirit Lab' banner, with many more unusual concoctions on the horizon.
Combining traditional distilling methods and quality ingredients with flavour balance is vital to Hamish and Rachel's craft. They are a passionate couple who take pride in everything that they produce; from a meal on the table to spirits in a bottle.
